About
CMS2 is a specialist equipment manufacturer supplying maritime atmosphere control systems and support services. We are experts in enabling high availability atmosphere management systems to generate breathable air for submariners, allowing boats to remain underwater for long periods of time. We do this by combining over sixty years of expertise with the latest technology and processes to design, build and support high quality systems and solutions.
We supply equipment to naval fleets across the world and have developed a deep understanding of our clients’ requirements – from the technical and scientific applications through to the tactical and strategic demands placed upon these vessels.
We are proud of our relationship with the world’s leading navies, supplying atmosphere management systems since the 1960s and supporting the United Kingdom’s Continuous At Sea Deterrent (CASD) which helps to ensure the nation stays safe.
From our factory in Portsmouth, we design, build and support systems that generate Oxygen, remove Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and manage Hydrogen gas in submarines. Using the latest science and technology and partnering with our parent company, Science Group, we continue to develop these systems to improve reliability, efficiency and performance.
